National Unity Platform (nup) supporters injured as police raid party headquarters, a head of delegates conference.|SPK NEWS

          |some of oppositions that will be elected for include party president and  his deputies, Secretary general,national treasure and  the spokesperson and the deputy.

The police and other security agencies have raided the NUP headquarters in Kampala a head of theire delegate's conference ,which will be held on 11 june.

On Tuesday, as party members returns forms  expressing  their interest in different positions ahead of coming 2026 general elections, the police that was driving behind one of the vehicles of sn aspirant broke through the gates  of the party headquarters and started firing bullets in the air.

Patrick Onyango ,spokesperson said  he was not aware of the incident, i have not yet received that report, and when i do,i will revert. I am not even sure where that particular one happened, Spokesperson Patrick Onyango said.

In February this year, security agencies raided the opposition party's offices after supporters taged in a parade in honour of the president Robert Kyaguranyi Ssentamu popularly know as Bobi Wine , who was celebrating his birthday. NUP leaders said in the aftermath of the raid that they had lost  properties and millions ,with doors,windows and cameras vandlised by security operatives.
