Grenade official was been released following his arrest in China ,June 15

He was released from detention in China after visa violation.

The artist was detained over yhe weekend for a allegedly violating immigration laws in China by performing in different places while on tourist visa.

The incident came light when Official's management issued a statement on social media platforms conforming  his arrest and detention in China, Beijing.

According to Joram Mukiisa ,Grenade's manager, The artist traveled to China on a tourist visa  but went on to perform at shows ,an action that is strictly prohibited without a valid work permit in China.

Grenade Official was released on June 16 2025 ,Taking to his social media handles shortly after regaining his freedom, Grenade shared a brief  but greatful message With his fans ,"God is good " am free.
