Ministry of health rules out covid 19 resurgence in Uganda

 

The ministry of health in Uganda has ruled out reports about the resurgence of Covid 19 in Uganda.

Through statements released out Wednesday,the director general of health services in Uganda, Dr Charles Olaro ,said that the national health situation is " suitable and full of control ".

The ministry reassure s the public that their is no resurgence of Covid 19 in the country and the national situation is stable and full under control since the major outbreak years ago, a tweet on ministry of health official X handle.

The ministry of health  regards the rumors about Covid 19 resurgence as ,misleading"  and urges Ugandans to continue maintaining good health.


The MOH wishes to clarify recent media reports suggesting a resurgence of Covid 19 cases in Uganda. The cuirculating messages are old clips being  shared by unscrupulous people to mislead the Uganda n public.

The ministry of health reasures the public there is no resurgence of Covid 19 in the country, since the end of the major Covid 19 outbreak three years ago, The MOH  has consistently monitored trends to ensure early detection and prompt response.
