Bebe cool reveals why burna boy and Davido shut down him for collaborations
In interview discussing about his new album Brea The Chains , the artist revealed that for years he had been pursuing collaborations with Nigerian top artists, but was met rejection.
Break The Chains Album includes collaborations with African Love featuring Yemi Alade, Games featuring Dj Edu and Chenque featuring Joshua Barack, International and Local collaborations.
Bebe cool says his ambitions to collaborate with Davido and Burna boy began long . and he believed that such collaborations would elevate his music career globally.
At the time , I have embarked on a journey of doing as many collaborations as possible, I expected to end up doing my music with the likes of Those top artists.
Bebe cool says, However, that when he reached out to them, they were not happy with his streams online
They googled me and recognise that I was a big name in Uganda and East Africa and experienced from way back, the problem was I had no numbers online,streams and social media followings.
Despite the setbacks , Big Size remains hopeful and continues to advise up coming artist in Uganda on the importance of their online presence.
