Uganda's military says holding opposition activist "in my basement "

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of  Ugandan president Yoweri Kuguta Museven, Says opposition activist Eddie Mutwe was captured "like a grasshopper 

Uganda's military chief , the son of long time president Yoweri Kuguta Museven,Says he is holding missing opposition activist in his basement and threatened violence against him, after the man's party said he was abducted. 


Eddie mutwe went missing on April 27 after being grabbed the captal Kampala by armed men, The National Unity Platform party has said.

Eddie mutwe acts as the chief bodyguard of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi wine) The National Unity Platform (NUP) party president. 


In a social media post ,The Ugandan twitting General "Muhoozi Kainerugaba " said Eddie Mutwe had been captured like a grasshopper"

"He is in my basement, You are next"  Muhoozi wrote on his X account in response to a post by Robert Kyagulanyi saying that Eddie had been captured.
